The idea of a robotic designer is a pretty wild one.
Now, thanks to the advances in computer vision, it seems like a natural fit.
The robots, according to MIT, could create beautiful artwork with their mind.
But that’s not all.
MIT’s researchers are also developing a system that could be used for human designers, too.
MIT said it developed a “bot” that can think and create “textures and animations that are indistinguishable from a human, yet still feel like art.”MIT has also released a few tutorials on how to program the bot and even how to use it to create some cool, 3D models of the robotic design.MIT’s team also said it is exploring how to make the robots “a useful tool for creating beautiful, human-like design patterns.”
We are exploring the possibility of building the robots as a useful tool in the design process for humans to use in their own creations, the team wrote in its announcement.
The robot will learn to use the robot’s learning capability to produce a visual experience and will even use its ability to “read and understand human language to produce unique visual and tactile experiences.”MIT said the robot will be able to do this using the “Robot Language.”
MIT says the Robot Language will be used by the robot to “encode, process, and render a digital image in order to produce textural and/or geometric representations that can be displayed and manipulated by a human.”
MIT also says it has a few more details on the robot, but they’re not going into any details about its software.
The robot is expected to go on sale in 2021, and the researchers said they plan to develop it to be used in various industries.MIT has previously demonstrated the ability to make 3D-printed objects like chairs and furniture.
